pretty poggers game!

Hiii, I've made a video about the game and wanted to share some feedback about it, hopefully it helps you :)

-The concept of the game is pretty good, and I really like how the difficulty in the game is managed.

-The gameplay mechanics in general are pretty good but it took me some time to get into the fighting mechanics.

-Visually the game looks quite awesome and the level design is pretty interesting.

-There's a lot of potential in this game, if you add a short story on it and give it a little roguelike twist you could have a pretty interesting project ^^.

Hopefully this is useful to you :D, also if you could subscribe that would help me a lot :)

Regards

Hey, thank you for comments about the game! I can really tell it took some time to get a hang of the mechanics - you're not the only one who didn't fully get the compass mechanics either. Watching you move right through the treasure area and not once using the compass when you're there hurts. But that's my fault for making an esoteric game.

I might subscribe if you manage to get a win in the game ;)

(using the compass on the marked spot with all the particles, then returning home without dying)

you are welcome :D

I tried out your game and made a video!

hey, thanks so much! It was interesting to see you play, and I certainly learned something. One of the best strategies is to trick enemies into attacking eachother, but this happens too rarely now that I made the game start exclusively with rats.

And yeah, if I am to continue with the game, the obvious thing would be to make your score *do* something.

Again thanks!

Hey, no problem. I think the main reason I had expectations of something lasting between the runs is because you described the game as a roguelike, but I just had the definitions for roguelike and roguelite mixed up.

hehe, tale as old as time.

I had this update plan in my head: First version, the roguelike version (current) - next version, the roguelite update - just to play with that whole genre definition thing

Awesome!

Why! Right arrow button - up, down arrow button - right, Up arrow button - down. D: Left arrow button - left. WHYYYYY!

I think you need to use some shaders to make the picture look like an old monitor.

haha, I was playing w WASD and only added arrow keys last minute - I must've implemented them wrong.

I'll fix that for sure
