I've come across two main bugs.

One, The game (freezes?) during the AI turn while its loading ( like while the AI bar is on screen showing the move process.)

Second, Is the game has been randomly crashing while playing.

Keep up the good and hard work. I understand I've gotten this before it was released to steam. I will gladly follow its updates and keep trying and spreading the word of the game. I will be happy to see things get flushed out as time goes. Cheers

One, I should have fixed this problem with v 1.5.4. If you can check you're playing this version, and it still occurs, I'd love to get in touch about the save files so I can fix this.

Two, is this a crash without or with crash log? In the prior case, fix will be up later today. Otherwise, I'd love to get in touch about the bug report.

Such a stellar game. After the updates a few issues seemed resolved. Am not having random crashes. played through a few games. Will keep you updated. I did however have a freeze but this time it came with a report. I'll paste it here but please drop a line if you'd prefer me to hit you up via e-mail.

Enemy's army is not dying. I have attacked it for ~8 times and it is always survives with 40 knights. And after last attack game just crashes.

I've fixed this today. I  still don't know how this bug started, but I've figured out a way to fix it. Expect the v 1.5.5 update tonight

I'm wondering if you unzipped the file? Something is preventing the game from reading files it should have access to. Did you move the exe outside of its folder?

No, but I did extract to a differently-named folder. I deleted the extracted folder, and re-extracted using the default folder naming and it... seems to be getting past the startup screen now! Sorry and thank you for the swift reply!

Is this from loading an old save file? I'm really uncertain about this situation.

About the latter, are you saying you built the Stronghold without buying other dwellings? I know this kinda locks the game. You can save and reload. It's just so rare for that to happen in normal play, and it's difficult to get around.

No, the error was not from loading an old save file. Yes, that's what happened but it wouldn't let me do anything further with that city and eventually would crash the game.

I did have this exact error trying to load a save file from a couple days ago. Do you know how I can fix it?

Portal spawned on a map that doesn't take you anywhere. The map name is Halo and the portal is on a south-eastern snowy island (blue with cross)

Huh, interesting. Was the map very tight with space? Otherwise, I have no idea what could cause this.

Great game but yeah a few bugs:
1. Playing the horde seems to CTD the most.
2. Bug where AI just freezes and turn does not progress.
3. Memory leak - uses lots of RAM
4. Sometimes saving or loading takes a long time - 30 seconds +

the ai bug should be fixed, the game updates very often so make sure you have the most recent one (its save compatible)

Just got a bug where the enemy's goblin keep multiplying... It display  "nan" (not a number) instead of having a number for the quantity of monsters.

I'd love to see a save file on this. I don't know what causes it. I've had some super sparing contact with this bug ever since v01. But if you have any ideas, go ahead!

So, weird bug.  I was just playing a game and was wiped out,  Lost my hero, lost my town.  I was then first awarded a victory pop up, followed by then a defeat pop up...

Really well done. I really like this game however I will invest in it when the bugs are fixed. With that, I wish you the best of luck! and a bug report ^^

I've emailed and I wanted to leave a comment.

I also see the ram issue, it uses about 5gbs of ram. The game does not stop however for me, except maintain the game state at a computer's turn. It is as if it has run into an AI issue where it does not know what to do. A value not being a returned perhaps. It happens about week 4-5. Sometimes restarting helps.

Hi, really liking the game so far but I'm having severe memory leak issues. After 10 minutes playing the game of a save I'm about 5 weeks into the game starts to use up to 10GB and climbing RAM, which crashes my game. I assume this memory usage must not be intentional as the recommended requirements states that this should run great with a mere 2GB RAM. Can you let me know an approximate time frame on how long this fix will take please as I'd really like to be able to get back into playing my save, I'm quite invested :P Thanks!

I'm a huge Heroes III Fan. This game excites me! Well done my guy! ;D

Lizards are imbalanced. And not only them. I hope the balance will be corrected, but now there are factions that easily win, and there are factions that suffer from flaws

Do you have a tier list? We could make one and the designer could base some changes off of it?

I'm waiting for the bug where the AI just stops on its turn. 
So fair undead have been an easy beginner start. Had issues with order money wise.

Great game. I'm absolutely impressed by the amount of content.

Had a weird experience playing a game on a tiny map, sometimes after a battle navigating through the map and hero movement got waay slower for a couple of seconds.

Anyone else put their hero in camping (make camp) mode and have no idea how to get them out of that..?


Edit: Found out you can click on the camp icon by the mana on the hero to get out of it.

if we buy the game on itch will we also get a Steam key when you release it on Steam or will we need to buy it again

All of my playthroughs eventually get hung up on an enemy movement turn. Anyone have a suggestion on if there's a fix?

The only thing I've found so far is making sure I've saved before ending my turn.  Had one save get corrupted before this latest build and it wouldn't ever load.  Besides that, I've just had to restart the game every few turns.

Great game! Hitting that Heroes of Might and Magic nostalgia bug for me.

Are you planning to enable us to dismiss unwanted heroes? I find my self with too many heroes and want to remove them from the roster, to make it easier for me to scroll to heroes I want to keep. The camp/tent feature is very cool, but still takes up the space.

Really adoring this game so far! I'm roughly 2 hours into it I'd guess and so far it's been a blast figuring things out. One thing that is annoying though (or maybe I just don't know the button to get out of it?) but I've stuck at the "Your character got a level-up!" screen twice now and unable to get out of the window (and I don't see any X I can just click to get out of it). 

edit: oh wait nvm im an idiot and didn't realize i was supposed to choose from the choices that aren't the top 2. I thought since they were blacked out I couldn't choose them but now i see ;w;

Really like the game, but it keeps crashing on me at random points. Until that's sorted out it's difficult to enjoy it fully. A bit disappointed after paying for it, but willing to wait for updates. Hope a lot of the bugs get worked out soon.

The plan is, yes.  According to the developer:

The plan is to get a page up on itch io where you can redeem a steam key if you've bought the game on itch io. Maybe it'll work differently. Maybe it'll take a bit longer to get steam key. But you get the idea.

I have had a few more crashes on playthroughs that are killing my campaings. I just want to say this game is amazing and I know you are working on the bugs! It totally deserves all the hype it's getting right now

i have a meduim specs pc but the game randomly kills my pc when i am in a battle no matter how big the battle is everything else is fine
